halloween is coming

and so is hurricane sandy. so we decided to spend the rainy cold night indoors making jack o' lanterns.  i chose a more traditional pattern while yangkyu chose a scary creepy one. we felt like kids all over again. and of course i made yangkyu listen to me sing flying purple people eater to officially welcome halloween and end the night. it's one of those songs you learn in elementary school chorus that never ever leaves you.

hope everyone on the east coast stays safe! and here's to a ghoulish halloween!

  1. Love the pumpkins! Did Piri try and eat the insides? Lani was loving the mess we made while carving. :)

    1. Thank you! Piri sure did! And he kept licking the pumpkins! At the very end when we lit them, he laid down next to them and enjoyed the glowing lights :)
