why do i easily fall into the trap?

sometimes it's easy for me to always fall into the trap..
the trap of wondering why there are so many crappy things in life.
but then just at the right moment,
i get reminded of all the good people and things...
and i wonder why i let the bad things get to me in the first place.

***

thank you everyone for sharing what your idea of a perfect happiness would be!
they were all so lovely and reminded me once more to enjoy the simple things in life.

  4. I get there too. One day I hear about a death but then the next day I hear about a beautiful baby that is born or I hear about a lost job and then I hear that someone's finally got that transplant they needed. It can be overwhelming and I'm trying to smile at least once a day and to laugh because there is SOO many wonderful things in this world and I have make sure to take some time to feel them even if it's a bad day. Feel better Jane and I hope the weather down in DC is nice today!!! =)

  5. YOu are so cute, and I don't think perfect happiness truly exists...nobody's life is perfect, but it is how we deal that brings happiness or not. Having gratitude for even the smallest of things brings life into perspective. Love your blog!!!

  7. I know what you mean, it's not once I fell in a pit of gloomy feels.. It makes you feel sluggish and depressed, but in the end, you'll regret thinking about sadness in the first place, that's when you realize happiness are small but plenty, life is really confusing :/
I hope you and everyone else won't feel this ever again :)

  9. Life is grief and joy, tears and laughter, pain and pleasure - all interwoven together.
I don't think there is perfect happiness, we simply learn to endure the hardships and celebrate the joys.
Sending you much love and lots of hugs...

  10. I think it's natural to get the "woe is me" feeling sometimes. We all get into ruts and we all feel down. When that happens, it's good to remember that there ARE wonderful things in life and real blessings all around. :)

  12. It's not just you... we all do that.. as long as you can remember to look at the good stuff and get out of your funk.. that's all that matters.

  13. It is easier to feel that way than feeling happy as we grow older and seem to have more challenges. I find that reading something uplifting and encouraging are a great mood booster. Also being surrounded by positive people helps lift your spirit abd happiness.
