when monday doesn't feel like a monday.

because today is presidents day and yangkyu has the day off. yay.

did you all have a good weekend? oh, mine was just... draining. i cried, cried and cried some more {all while watching tv shows and dramas, one of which was about these two people who had to part with their 7-year old corgi. oh it was just so so sad}. it got to the point where i was even looking for a horribly depressing sad movie so i can cry some more. do you ever get like that?

my eyes are all puffy but i feel like i just shed a lot of ickiness off. now it feels like spring is coming {friday is supposed to be in the 60s}, we're getting back into our exercise routine and evenings will be getting darker slightly later.

one exciting thing that happened over the weekend though -- that picture above. it got selected to be part of the curated vsco grid. i thought that was pretty cool. it's found here, or currently on page 5 here

hope you have a wonderful week ahead!

  12. I had the absolute opposite kind of binge-watching. I watched a comedy show the whole weekend with my husband and laughed and laughed. It's been a while since we laughed for more of the day than not. =) BUT, I totally have cry-worthy fests too.

  14. I definitely get like that. Sometimes just an emotional commercial sets me off, haha (that's good advertising!). But it's so nice that it's starting to feel like spring!

  15. So glad we get an extra day off. Hope you're enjoying it. We caught up on a bunch of shows/movie over the weekend as well. Watched one movie that had me in tears and followed it with a show that made me laugh so hard my stomach hurt.

  20. I too hunt out sad movies when I'm already sad, or listen to sad songs, I find it quite cathardic :) I hope there was sprinkles of happiness for you too - the vsco grid was definitely an awesome thing to happen!

  23. congrats on the photo! it's a really neat composition.

hope everything's ok! i don't really cry often when i watch movies, but i shed big tear drops every time i watch the first 15 minutes of "Up," even though I already know what's going to happen.

  25. Such a gorgeous picture! And omg I totally know the feeling where you just want to cry more...but a good cry really can make you feel better even when you weren't feeling sad in particular in the first place.
