A couple of days ago I received a package from the make up artist who did my make up and hair for my wedding 9 years ago. After years of trying to find a product she can trust, she discovered SEACRET and signed up to be their sales consultant and asked if I would like to try some products.

I don't really have a skin care routine other than double cleansing (I used Innisfree but then found out they weren't cruelty free and then switched over to Tatcha). I have tried to incorporate some things in the past and have created my own exfoliating masks using raw honey and cane sugar and also used a variety of different products from Aesop to Lush to Suki. Ole Henriken Truth Serum has actually been a favorite that I bought over and over again.

I remember seeing SEACRET at a mall and the person tried me get me to try some products but I declined. I was sort of wary in the beginning but I trust the ladies who did my make up and hair and I love that she came back to me 9 years later to introduce me to some things that may help my aging skin.

It's been a couple of days since I started using them and while I am not sure what I'm supposed to look out for in terms of effectiveness to help people have a reference point on why I like the products, I really like them. And perhaps it is too early to say what kind of effect it is having.

But I think for one the smoothness of my skin has definitely been a surprising factor (and it stays that way even after I wake up in the morning) and while it may just be an imagination of the mind, my skin feels and looks lighter and cleaner after each use.

So I'll keep these as part of my morning and nightly routine and see how they fair a few weeks from now.

Has anyone tried this? If so, how do you like it?

  1. I've never seen this brand before, Jane, but it could be something that's to come here. That's great to know it works:) I need all the help I can get!

  2. SEACRET is new to me! Your experience sounds promising so far. Looking forward to hearing your thoughts as you try out the range. I'm currently getting acquainted with a brand called OSKIA.

  3. You'll have to keep us updated :) I have such a small skin care routine but as I get older I can't help but be more mindful about wanting to protect what I have :) :)
